WHAT’S THERE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN?

One of the latest additions to the LEGOLAND roster is the all new 4D adaptation of “The LEGO Movie” which is sure to be a favourite with the kids. This version features a number of ‘4D’ special effects such as wind, water and fog which will help to bring you even closer to the action.

For fans of Star Wars, March 11th saw the unveiling of the all-new (and enormous) LEGO recreation of Darth Vader’s iconic super weapon, The Death Star. This massive structure has been created from over 500,000 bricks and weighs in at a colossal 860kg, making for an impressive addition to the already expansive Miniland Model Display where it is currently located.

OUR TIP: The Dragon’s apprentice is the ideal first roller coasting experience for little ones over 0.9 metres.

WHAT’S THERE FOR OLDER CHILDREN?

For older children, there are a huge number of things to see and do at LEGOLAND.

For starters, Sky Rider takes visitors on an exciting journey in a dragon themed car 20 feet above the ground where impressive views of the surrounding countrywide await you.

Another amazing ride at LEGOLAND is The Space Tower, which sees visitors ascend up to the tower’s peak where they will find an alien spaceship before make a safe descent back down.

Although LEGOLAND is intended primarily for younger children, there’s still plenty for parents to see and do. If you’re looking for some retail therapy, make sure to visit the BIG Shop, located near the beginning of the park, for all your LEGO needs – it’s hard to miss!
