Are you an ale aficionado? If so, head on down to The Blue River Café and experience our real ale of the month to enjoy the splendour of Maidenhead’s local produce.
Our standard Indian Pale Ale is taking a quick hiatus from the bar in place of a new addition from our friends over at the Rebellion Brewery in Marlow.
June has seen the arrival of ‘Rebellion Smuggler’ – an amber ale with a distinctive fruity hop flavour featuring Maris Otter pale ale malt and a strength of 4.2%.
Next up in our real ale of the month line-up is the “Rebellion Blonde”.
A slightly stronger tipple, this ale earns its name from its shimmering golden complexion. A blend of different hops creates a contrastingly citrusy flavour to its more rebellious brother and is best served a little cooler than is usual for most real ales.
Real ale is a big favourite at The Blue River Café so we thought it only right to treat our guests to a selection of new and exciting drinks from this fantastic local brewery.
Guests are also welcome to enjoy these thirst quenching ales in the comfort of The Blue River Café.
Complete with a riverside view of the Thames, our café is the perfect place to relax with friends and family whilst sipping on a cool glass of your favourite ale and our sun terrace allows guests to further immerse themselves in the tranquil surroundings.
If you’re after a bite to eat after feasting on our selection of real ales, be sure to browse The Thames Riviera’s tempting food menu.
Hearty classics such as braised lamb shank, rack of smoky BBQ pork ribs and confit of duck with hoi sin sauce are just a few examples of the delicious meals on offer.
