Despite featuring some of the most amazing thrill rides in England, there’s also a great many things for smaller children to do too. For children less than 1 metre tall, there’s a huge diversity of rides to choose from including the angry birds 4D experience which sends visitors through the unique world of Angry Birds whilst experiencing rumbling chairs, smoke, flashing lights and other atmospheric effects.

Thorpe Park provides a very handy tool that parents can use to select rides that are age/height appropriate for their kids before they visit.


The real reason people travel for miles to visit Thorpe Park is the wealth of exciting (and sometimes terrifying) rides on offer.

The illusive Derren Brown is the inspiration between the park’s latest ride: Ghost Train, which is arriving in on 6th May.The Ghost Train is a one-of-a-kind immersive psychological attraction which guides you through a mysterious Victorian train carriage in a quest to find the secrets held within.

If you’re looking for a more primordial thrill experience, Stealth is a white behemoth which is sure to send shivers down the spines of even the most veteran roller coaster fanatics with its acceleration to 80mph in just 1.9 seconds followed shortly by a terrifying 200 foot descent.
